One of the best things, if not the best thing, about being a Calgary wedding photographer is being there to catch the big emotions on one of the most important days in those two peoples’ lives. It’s a big responsibility and not one that I take lightly.

That is one reason why I love working with veteran Calgary wedding photography companies such as  Gingersnap Photography (the focused artist herself is pictured above). Jenny’s easygoing personality allows the couple to feel relaxed and comfortable on their wedding day. Having a photojournalist background, Jenny is at ease taking candid moments of the couple’s and capturing the raw emotion of the day – which I appreciate as I try my best to shoot those moments as well. The thing about Jenny is that she could have easily made Gingersnap Photography a photojournalistic Calgary wedding photography company – as that is a certifiable photographic style. However, her ability to take beautiful portraits, candids, details and landscapes tells you that she references heavily from multiple genres of photography and incorporates them all into her wedding work.
