pictures of a lifetime.

I don’t know about you, but it’s always the first thing I notice whenever I walk into my grandmother’s’ house.

I mean they are literally falling off the tables and shelves. Tables packed front to back with photo frames all filled lovingly with pictures of her family and the memories she cherishes. I believe that my job as a photographer is to create family heirlooms, pictures and photo albums that you will be able to look back on with fond memories and share with your family throughout the years. So, I view my job as extremely important. I have to capture the moment with as much authenticity, care and tenderness as it deserves so that you can look back at that photo in 10, 20, 50 years and feel the same emotions that you experienced in that moment.

Hello, my name is Cam and I’m the guy behind the camera. I love using my camera to tell stories and capture beautiful images. I want to be able to find out who you are and be able to capture that in a moment. I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera so that I can capture natural, authentic and beautiful moments that you will cherish for years to come!

These guys. I mean really though. It’s rare that when doing Calgary wedding photography that the groom’s ‘getting ready’ shots are some of your favourite of the shoot. But when you look at how much fun these guys are having playing football, the camaraderie and friendship is palpable. Cut to the guys getting their suits […]

Calgary Engagement Photography | Snowy Canadiana Engagement | Rachel & Steve

My first visit to Cochrane’s Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park, I was struck by the beautiful rolling foothills carved by the Bow River which snakes through it. That was summer. When Rachel & Steve asked me to do a winter engagement shoot, I thought that Glenbow Ranch may be an interesting setting, but wasn’t sure if […]

post processing

I really love the look of film and I try to emulate that feel with my post-processing. I tweak and refine each image so that it looks the best it possibly can before delivering it to my clients.

I believe that in order to have a great photography session, the client must feel comfortable and relaxed, which is the experience I strive to deliver. I am also constantly educating myself and experimenting in order to keep abreast of current trends in photography and how to deliver the absolute best quality product to my clients.
