pictures of a lifetime.
I don’t know about you, but it’s always the first thing I notice whenever I walk into my grandmother's’ house.
I mean they are literally falling off the tables and shelves. Tables packed front to back with photo frames all filled lovingly with pictures of her family and the memories she cherishes. I believe that my job as a photographer is to create family heirlooms, pictures and photo albums that you will be able to look back on with fond memories and share with your family throughout the years. So, I view my job as extremely important. I have to capture the moment with as much authenticity, care and tenderness as it deserves so that you can look back at that photo in 10, 20, 50 years and feel the same emotions that you experienced in that moment.
Hello, my name is Cam and I'm the guy behind the camera. I love using my camera to tell stories and capture beautiful images. I want to be able to find out who you are and be able to capture that in a moment. I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera so that I can capture natural, authentic and beautiful moments that you will cherish for years to come!
I believe that in order to have a great photography session, the client must feel comfortable and relaxed, which is the experience I strive to deliver. I am also constantly educating myself and experimenting in order to keep abreast of current trends in photography and how to deliver the absolute best quality product to my clients.
I really love the look of film and I try to emulate that feel with my post-processing. I tweak and refine each image so that it looks the best it possibly can before delivering it to my clients.
Under our introductory pricing schedule (valid if you book before summer 2016) you will receive your digital negatives, which you may print from directly (up to an 8″ X 10″). If you’re a wine lover, your dream may be to get married at a vineyard, maybe like the Okanogan Valley, or perhaps the famous Napa or Sonoma wine regions. However, what would be the equivalent for a beer lover? A brewery wedding? Perhaps. How about an Olde-English pub with its own hop orchard? Horchard? Hopchard? […]
Working as a Calgary portrait photographer, I love working with models because they are very used to being in front of the camera and being asked to pose. This allows us the freedom to get a little bit more creative when shooting as poses seem to flow pretty naturally. I suggested to Justin that we […]
Standing in front of a camera can be very nerve racking - I get it, I don’t like having my picture taken either. If that sounds like you, you’re not alone. Kirsten told me flat out that she felt nervous every time she has her picture taken. So, when I hear that, I know […]
